Today I am sharing one of my new favorite brands. They are located in Nashville and have some lovely pieces, including this denim jacket. This is my favorite jean jack I have ever owned. It is super soft denim with slight stretch. I love that this jacket has a slightly dropped shoulder and hits at the hips. There is slight distressing but not too much. Mine is the original wash in size Small, this is tts. I would size up if you are looking to wear bulky layers under.

Able is ultra-transparent in that they publish their lowest wages online! This is truly admirable and a rarity to find in the fashion industry.

Sustainability Initiatives

In addition to fair occupational standards, able has environmental initiatives as well, below are some.

Shipping & Packaging: They aim to have 100% recyclable shipping and packaging materials in 2022.

Leather: One of their main resources for leather uses a 100% recycled water, closed process system, to keep the environment safe. Seeking partnership with industry innovators who are working to create plant-based leather alternatives with low environmental impact.

Jewelry: handmade in Nashville. All scraps are melted down and reprocessed into new pieces. Moving away from harsh chemicals used in jewelry making, to more natural solutions.

Apparel: Harsh chemicals are avoided in the denim production process. Denim vendor recycles 100% of their water and are in the process of becoming WRAP certified.

Clothing: Primarily use all natural fibers in their materials. Vendor that produces their 100% cotton operates in a zero waste, GOTS certified factory. GOTS ensures the entire production process of cotton is 100% organic, from seed to garment.
