Vintage Suede





Since I recently had great luck scoring a real leather pencil skirt at the thrift store for next to nothing, I decided to hunt for a suede version.  Thankfully, I found this vintage style on eBay for less than $30 and in my size!  I love the 70’s vibe that it has, plus the color is perfect for fall – I can’t wait to pair it with a chunky knit & tights when the weather gets cooler.  For now, though,  I decided to keep the retro theme going with a plaid scarf & fold-over clutch, but modernized it with this structured-shoulder top & my favorite peep-toe booties.

    The skirt is great – what a lucky find! The booties really look great with it – I would love to have them. I also really like that scarf and how it ties the whole outfit together.

    The skirt is really beautiful. I love the slightly A-line shape to it. Is it comfortable? I'd love to find one…but I wonder if it would feel stiff or heavy.

    I also recently thrifted a gorgeous Ann Taylor leather skirt – but I'm LOVING this suede version. You seem to have such good luck with eBay. I'd love to see a post on how you shop for clothing on the site, find the right sizing, avoid counterfeits, etc.
