Affordable fashion is more than good deals and snagging the biggest discounts. Constantly shopping the latest deals could actually cost more money in the long run, as opposed to buying high quality basics. This has inspired me to create a year round capsule wardrobe for 2023!

Capsule Wardrobe 2023

After spending the last year creating seasonal capsule wardrobes, I realized that affordable fashion is also about SHOPPING LESS and appreciating what we ALREADY OWN. The more an individual clothing item is worn, the less it will cost over time. For example, spending $50 on versatile basic t-shirt you wear 100 times is much more cost effective than buying a trendy $20 shirt you wear 5 times. Make sense?

This year round capsule wardrobe 2023 contains 72 items – including tops, layers, bottoms, dresses, and shoes. While 72 may seem like a lot, this is to accommodate the ever changing and unpredictable weather of Northeast Ohio! You may require more, or less, layers depending on your location.

There a lot of basic, neutral pieces in this wardrobe. You may already own a lot of similar items. I want this page to be inspiration for you to plan daily outfits & encourage you to shop your closet FIRST and create similar looks to the ones below.
