Taylor Swift’s music is something I relate to more than any other music. Specifically throughout my college years and late 20’s I felt a huge connection to her songs and I believe that is why she is so popular. Her music is relatable and personal. For me, we were both born in 1989 and our lives seemed to parallel in a lot of ways (based on lyrics), up until I got married. Her writing style is done in such a way that you visualize your own experiences as you listen to the song and dream up the story she is singing about. My connection to her music became full circle when she released “All Too Well: The Short Film” in 2021. All Too Well was always a favorite of mine. I get the chills every time watching it!
